Welcome To Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House

Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House started in 1986. We are a community based centre operating from a community development framework, offering programs in response to the needs of women and children living and working in the City of Darebin.

We are funded by the City of Darebin, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, Department of Planning and Community Development and Adult, Community and Further Education.

Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House offers a friendly environment for women to learn new skills, find information about the local community, meet other women, gain support or participate in one of our many activities which celebrate our diverse community.

Thornbury Women's Neighbourhood House is a registered training provider and offers a wide range of nationally accredited training courses.

NEWS FLASH! WE ARE A RECIPIENT OF FUNDING UNDER THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INITIATIVE TO FUND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND TRAINING SECTOR.
